Kulgam Aug 4: The encounter in Kulgam’s Akhal forest entered its fourth day on Monday, with intermittent firing and blasts reported overnight.
So far, one terrorist has been killed and four soldiers injured. The operation, ongoing since Friday, continues in treacherous forest terrain, with Rudra helicopters, drones, high-tech surveillance equipment, and elite Para forces deployed.
Fresh firing has been reported from the Encounter site and till last report blasts and firing is going on
The cordon has been extended, and top police and Army officials are closely monitoring the situation.
