Delhi : Kashmiri film director Tariq Bhat has officially announced that actress Isha Sharma, known for her lead role in the television serial Pashmina and several popular music videos, will play the lead role in his upcoming Bollywood film Krishika.
The film Krishika focuses on the struggles and lives of Indian farmers. It is produced by Sona Manwani, written by Anand Manwani, and directed by Tariq Bhat.
According to their media advisor, the shooting of the film will commence in November 2025 in Indore and Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, with the remaining schedule planned in Jammu and Kashmir in 2026.
The film is expected to hit theatres across India in 2026.
