Vice President of India Resigns

Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Vice President of India, resigned from his post on Monday, citing health reasons.

He formally submitted his resignation letter to the President of India, in which he mentioned health concerns as the reason for stepping down. He also expressed his gratitude to the President of India and the Prime Minister for their invaluable support during his tenure.

Jagdeep Dhankhar was elected as the 14th Vice President of India on 11 August 2022, and his oath was administered by President Droupadi Murmu.
