J&K.Security has been enhanced in the jammu and kashmir UT ahead of 78th independence day on 15 August.
Multi-tier frisking is being carried out in the markets and vehicles in the jammu and kashmir by the joint forces of Police and CRPF.
Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, VK Birdi, said in a media briefing that comprehensive security arrangements are in motion to ensure Independence Day celebrations on August 15 are held in a safe and peaceful atmosphere.
