Kishtwar, Jul 02: An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Chatroo area of Kishtwar district on Wednesday, officials said.
News agency KNO quoting official reported that an exchange of fire took place after the security forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists.
The joint operation is being carried out in the area. Two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped in the area.
