Udhampur: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday delivered a strong warning to Pakistan, stating that any future terror attacks on Indian territory will be met with devastating consequences.
Speaking to Northern Command troops in Udhampur after taking part in International Yoga Day, Singh said that Operation Sindoor is still underway and serves as India’s firm response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives.
He described the operation as a continuation of India’s earlier decisive actions—the 2016 surgical strikes and the 2019 Balakot airstrikes.
Singh made it clear that India will not tolerate terrorism and its response will intensify if provoked.
Joined by Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, the Indian defence minister reaffirmed India’s preparedness to take further action, declaring that Pakistan’s “thousand cuts” approach is now obsolete.
